LG Unveils Innovative Indoor Garden Lamp with Automatic Watering System

LG's new indoor garden lamp with adjustable lighting and water tank

LG has introduced a groundbreaking lamp that doubles as an indoor garden, set to debut at CES in January. This innovative device functions as both an adjustable grow light for up to 20 plants and a stylish room lamp, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics.

The lamp features two distinct lighting modes: a downward-facing light during the day to promote plant growth, and an upward-facing light at night to enhance home ambiance. Equipped with a 1.5-gallon water tank, the lamp automatically dispenses the appropriate amount of water and nutrients based on the number and type of plants it houses, ensuring optimal growth without constant supervision.

In addition to the primary lamp, LG will showcase a smaller, side table-style grow light at CES. This compact version also incorporates a grow lamp positioned over a cluster of plants. Both devices integrate with LG’s ThinQ app, allowing users to remotely control light settings and manage plant cultivation schedules.

LG’s venture into indoor gardening isn’t new. The company previously launched the LG Tiiun indoor cultivator in 2019, followed by more compact models. This latest lamp iteration boasts a larger water capacity than previous versions, although LG has yet to disclose pricing or release dates.
