Grok AI has officially been integrated into Telegram, allowing premium users to access the chatbot directly within the encrypted messaging platform. This new addition enhances Telegram’s capabilities by providing AI-powered responses, but only those subscribed to Telegram Premium will have the privilege of interacting with it.
The partnership between Grok and Telegram doesn’t come as a major shock. X’s owner, Elon Musk, has previously voiced strong support for Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, particularly following Durov’s legal troubles in France last year. Both Musk and Durov have consistently positioned themselves as advocates for free speech, making this collaboration a natural fit.
