Apple continues to innovate with its Apple Intelligence suite, introducing Priority Notifications �, a feature designed to highlight the most time-sensitive alerts on your device. This update is part of a broader rollout that includes enhancements to the Image Playground app and Mac functionalities. Notably, Apple Intelligence is now accessible to users in the European Union 🇪🇺 and on the Apple Vision Pro headset in U.S. English, marking a significant expansion of its AI capabilities.
The latest features are available with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. Apple has also extended language support, adding French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), along with localized English versions for Singapore and India.
Since its debut at last year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple Intelligence has seen a phased introduction of features. The integration of ChatGPT, Image Playground, and other tools were only made available in subsequent updates, illustrating Apple’s gradual approach to AI deployment.
Among the new features, Priority Notifications stand out by organizing alerts to ensure critical information is immediately visible. Additional updates include the ability to generate memory movies on Mac through descriptive typing and a new Sketch style in Image Playground for creating detailed academic sketches.
Apple’s expansion into the EU was initially delayed due to regulatory considerations but is now underway, bringing AI features like Writing Tools and Genmoji to Vision Pro users. The update also introduces new emojis and the Apple News+ Food recipe companion, alongside enhancements to child safety features and the Apple Photos app.
