OMG, guys! 🤯 Bloober Team just dropped the first gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, and it’s like they took Dead Space and Control, threw them in a blender, and created something AMAZING! 🎮🔥 The trailer gives off major Dead Space vibes, which is totally cool because who doesn’t love a good third-person survival horror game? But wait, there’s more! The game is set in two time periods—a post-apocalyptic future and 1980s Poland. How cool is that? 🕰️
You play as a Traveller sent back in time to save people before they die in an apocalypse. But here’s the twist: you gotta battle these creepy creatures called Orphans. And guess what? If you don’t burn their bodies after taking them down, they can merge with other Orphans and become even scarier! 😱 Talk about a nightmare!
The trailer also shows off some insane visuals and action that remind me of The Last of Us Part 2, Returnal, Bioshock, and Control. Plus, the creature designs are straight out of Silent Hill 2 (which Bloober Team is also working on). So yeah, this game is basically a love letter to all the best horror games out there. 💌
Cronos: The New Dawn is coming later this year to Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. I already know what I’m playing this Halloween! 🎃
