Faireez, a New York-based startup striving to provide “five-star hotel-style housekeeping” to multifamily residences, has emerged from stealth mode with $7.5 million in seed funding. The company is pioneering a new approach to cleaning services by offering residents an AI-enhanced, subscription-based model that emphasizes consistency and personalization.
Customized Housekeeping with a Personal Touch
Founded in 2023, Faireez aims to deliver a tailored cleaning experience through a unique system where each residential building is assigned a dedicated housekeeper, referred to as a “fairy.” These fairies provide reliable and personalized cleaning services to subscribed residents, ensuring familiarity and trust.
Unlike conventional hourly cleaning services, Faireez allows users to book specific tasks, such as dishwashing or floor mopping, rather than paying for a block of time. Residents can schedule services via the company’s website or mobile app, making the process seamless and efficient.
Expanding Partnerships and Presence
While revenue figures remain undisclosed, Faireez has already forged relationships with some of the top property management companies and landlords in the U.S. The company’s services are currently available in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Illinois, with major property partners including Silverstein Properties, Charney Companies, First Service Residential, Ironstate, and BNE. Collectively, these companies manage approximately one million multifamily units.
AI-Powered Cleaning and Dynamic Pricing
Faireez is integrating artificial intelligence to enhance service quality and pricing. One upcoming feature is an AI-driven auto scan technology that will analyze residents’ homes through video, generating tailored cleaning plans based on their specific needs. This innovation is set to roll out later this year.
Additionally, Faireez is introducing dynamic, SKU-based pricing, where each chore is assigned a cost based on factors such as size, demand, and complexity. “Our engine will calculate the price of each task in real time, making housekeeping as precise and flexible as any other modern service,” co-founder Ori Fingerer explained.
AI-Backed Quality Assurance
Ensuring consistent quality is another key focus for Faireez. Each cleaning session is documented with time-stamped before-and-after photos, which are analyzed by AI for quality control. Residents receive real-time updates about completed tasks, reinforcing transparency and accountability.
To maintain a high standard of service, Faireez collaborates with professional cleaning companies and carefully selects only the top 5% of employees from these firms. All fairies receive standardized training, uniforms, and equipment to ensure a seamless experience.
Competitive Pay and Robotic Assistance
Faireez asserts that its fairies earn 30% to 40% above the market average, with additional incentives available. Looking ahead, the company plans to introduce robotic assistants to aid housekeepers with routine chores. In some cases, these robots will even be remotely operated by human housekeepers in locations like Mexico, expanding efficiency and service capabilities.
Ambitious Growth Plans
With a vision of servicing one million multifamily units by 2030, Faireez is using its latest funding round to enhance R&D efforts and expand its geographic footprint. By 2026, the company aims to enter four additional states, with a particular focus on the West Coast.
The startup is led by co-founders Omer Agiv and Ori Fingerer, who previously built and sold Israeli data analytics firm WeissBeerger to Anheuser-Busch for $80 million in 2018. “Both Faireez and WeissBeerger represent our approach of bringing high-tech innovation into traditional industries,” said Fingerer. “Housekeeping is something people spend years of their lives on, and we see a massive opportunity for disruption.”
Backing from Industry Leaders
Faireez’s seed round was led by Aristagora VC, with participation from Longevity Venture Partners, Hetz Ventures, Secret Chord Ventures, RE Angels, and NFX founding partner Gigi Levy-Weiss. Aristagora VC’s managing partner Moshe Sarfati praised the startup’s innovative approach, stating, “Faireez has the potential to revolutionize the residential amenities space with cutting-edge technology and a fresh take on an age-old industry.”
With strong backing and ambitious plans, Faireez is poised to redefine the housekeeping industry, bringing a blend of technology, convenience, and luxury to multifamily living.
